Children, tweens, and teens are fascinated by pianos. It’s such a welcoming instrument with its simple percussive nature to create beautiful sounds. However, it seems more students start and stop taking piano lessons than any other instrument. I think that’s because they simply give up on the historically stringent methods of traditional piano teaching.
I help students use their innate curiosity and creativity to explore and learn piano while having fun! My students look forward to their next lesson and build a true enthusiasm for the piano and musical arts.
My method is simple. I call it the 3 Ps of Piano!
Practice
PATIENCE
Perseverance
All of this from the commodity of your house!
Practice is absolutely key to learning the piano – and with my methods kids actually look forward to practicing the piano.
Some people like to say “practice makes perfect.” I prefer Mary Poppins quote that practice is “Practically Perfect in Every Way!”
